By Heather Cichowski

Trooping the Colour has had so many fun and sweet moments so choosing a favourite was tricky! After all, the event has a lengthy history and has been filled with debuts, milestones and cute, unexpected photos. The annual event brings together many members of the Royal Family for the Queen's official birthday celebration.

We asked HELLO! Canada readers to pick their favourite Trooping the Colour moment from a few standout years and the results are in!

Your favourite moment was when Prince Louis's debut at Trooping the Colour in 2019. The entire Cambridge family was photographed on the balcony of Buckingham Palace at the event. Duchess Kate and Prince William posed with Prince George and Princess Charlotte and the duke held their youngest son in his arms! It was a touching moment, and it earned nearly 27 per cent of the votes.

The Queen’s 90th birthday year in 2016 was filled with many milestone moments, including Trooping the Colour on June 11. The event earned nearly 21 per cent of all reader votes. It was a doubly exciting time because it was also when Charlotte appeared on the balcony for the first time. The Duchess of Cambridge held her baby girl in her arms. Charlotte and big brother George were fascinated by the flypast.

The former Suits actress wore a soft pink Carolina Herrera dress and a coordinating wide-brimmed hat by Philip Treacy. The moment earned 14 per cent of votes.
