Watch kids act out scenes from Best Picture Oscar nominees in an adorable new video

The world is a bigger place than usual for characters played by likes of Bradley Cooper, Keira Knightley and David Oyelowo in a new video by CineFix and The super-cute parody, which highlights some of the Oscars' top Best Picture contenders, puts the spotlight on a pack of pint-sized child actors (and, of course, the American Sniper baby).

In a montage of memorable scenes, titled "Kid Oscars," there's no shortage of faux facial hair as we move from that infamous baby scene between Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller in American Sniper to Wes Anderson's Golden Globe-winning The Grand Budapest Hotel, where the little players debate the responsibilities of a lobby boy.

Next up is The Theory of Everything, where a wee Stephen Hawking (originally played by Eddie Redmayne) challenges a crowd of onlookers, before a mini Michael Keaton has a bit of a breakdown in Birdman. From here, we move to The Imitation Game and a kid-sized Alan Turing's fight to keep his code-breaking machine (at a cost), and a petite Martin Luther King, Jr. from Selma (David Oyelowo's role) fighting for his cause (with a little help from Oprah).

Lastly, Boyhood's protagonist grows before our eyes (well, not quite as much as Ellar Coltrane in the major motion picture) and diminutive Miles Teller drums his heart out under his very-prematurely bald teacher's imposing shouts (originally J.K. Simmons).

We may not yet know which film and actors will take home the top statues at the 2015 Academy Awards, but the impish imposters in this fun video definitely gave the roles their all.

CineFix has made these adorable kid-fronted montages a staple in the walk-up to the Oscars, with last year's version taking on films like Captain Phillips, Her, The Wolf of Wall Street and American Hustle.
