The Duchess of Cambridge is beautiful in blue at Rugby World Cup

A day after the Duchess of Cambridge made her return to royal duties with a visit to a children’s hospital, the mom of two was back in the spotlight on Friday (Sept. 18), joining Prince William and Prince Harry at the opening ceremony of the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

Dressed in an eye-catching royal blue Reiss coat, Kate looked to be making the most of her night off from parenting duties. When she wasn’t watching the elaborate festivities, she was seen giggling with her husband and waving to the crowd.

The sports-loving royal trio, who enjoyed many outings together during the 2012 London Olympics, looked happy to be reunited after a busy summer spent apart. While William and Kate settled into their new life as a family of four with their son Prince George and baby daughter Princess Charlotte, Prince Harry travelled to South Africa for a three-month working trip to assist with different conservation projects. He returned home just in time to ring in his 31st birthday on Sept. 15, which he marked with a quiet celebration surrounded by his family and friends, including ex-love Cressida Bonas.

Following the arrival of Charlotte in May, Kate has been busy being mother to two under two in the privacy of the family's home in Norfolk. But now that she is slowly returning to full-time royal duties, including attending her first state banquet in October, it is believed that the Cambridges will be spending more time at their residence in Kensington Palace.
