There are many exciting royal events, but one of the biggest of the year is Trooping the Colour. It brings together the Royal Family to celebrate the Queen's birthday. And it has become known for exciting balcony photographs and for beautiful fashion. From Duchess Kate to Princess Diana to Duchess Meghan, there have been some unforgettable style moments at Trooping the Colour.

It's tricky to choose just one favourite outfit, but we're asking you to do just that in the style poll below. Scroll down to see some of the best Trooping the Colour looks throughout the decades then pick your favourite.

Her Majesty's late sister, Princess Margaret, had a gorgeous floral moment at Trooping the Colour on June 16, 1984 in periwinkle separates with a matching floral hat. She accessorized with a gold watch, white gloves and stud earrings.

The late Princess Diana posed with a young Prince Harry at the royal event in 1989! She opted for a pale pink dress accented with a striped bow and buttons. Her pastel look was topped with pearly earrings and a matching wide-brimmed hat.

On June 11, 1983, Princess Anne joined others members of the Royal Family on the balcony. The Princess Royal didn't go unnoticed in a yellow belted coat dress and white-and-yellow hat. She accessorized with pearly studs and a white choker.

Princess Beatrice looked lovely at 2018 Trooping the Colour in a soft pink dress with thick waistband and a striking red hat.

Younger sister Princess Eugenie was blooming beautiful in 2017 in a white sleeveless shirtdress embroidered with leaves. The ensemble was topped with a metallic belt and a dramatic hat featuring flowers and feathers.

Sophie, Countess of Wessex was also drawn to florals for the event back in 2016. Prince Edward's wife wore a crisp white skirt suit featuring a beaded jacket. Pearl earrings and a floral headpiece rounded out the ensemble.

The same year, Zara Tindall punctuated a fitted sheath dress with a bold hot pink fascinator complete with swirling feathers and a grey flower.

Duchess Camilla looked lovely in pink at 2014 Trooping the Colour on June 14. She sported a soft pink skirt suit with matching clutch and cream gloves. The Duchess of Cornwall accessorized with a wide-brimmed pink hat, which was topped with a large floral detail. Pearly drop earrings and a multi-strand pearl necklace with pendant detail completed the look.

In 2019, the Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance at the royal event after giving birth to son Archie that May. The new mom glowed in a short-sleeved navy dress by her wedding gown designer, Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy. She paired the frock with a Noelle Stewart fascinator.

In 2017, Duchess Kate shone bright in a bubblegum pink dress and hat. The darling dress was by Alexander McQueen, a designer the mom of three has worn to numerous Trooping the Colour events. A Jane Taylor fascinator perfectly complemented the pleated sheath.

Finally, the Queen demonstrated her love of colour at the 2010 celebration. The monarch was outfitted in a crisp lilac coat with a multicoloured dress underneath. Her hat expertly matched the coat with the swirling bow tying in the shades in her dress. The lady of the hour accessorized with pearl studs, her cherished three-strand pearl necklace, a black handbag and black pumps. She wore her Brigade of Guards brooch, which is traditional. The brooch pays tribute to British and Commonwealth armies.
