The Crown fans are eagerly anticipating the fourth season of the hit Netflix show. They have another reason to be excited about the latest instalment: A young Prince William will feature in the new season.
The vast majority of The Crown's season three cast will return, including Olivia Colman as the Queen, Tobias Menzies playing Prince Philip, Josh O’Connor as Prince Charles and Emerald Fennell portraying Camilla Parker Bowles.
With work on the fourth season of The Crown currently underway, fans have been eager to glean any details about the next set of episodes. Several photos of Emma and Josh in costume have circulated, including ones of Emma portraying a pregnant Diana.
The latest photos show Emma with a child actor who is believed to be a young William. HELLO! UK reports it appears the cast were filming a Buckingham Palace Easter egg hunt circa 1984, ahead of the birth of Prince Harry.
No details about the actor portraying William have been revealed, nor has anything been confirmed about if or when a young Harry will feature.

It was also recently confirmed the fifth season of The Crown will be its final one. Creator Peter Morgan had previously talked about his uncertainty as to whether the show would continue to the present day.
"At the outset, I had imagined The Crown running for six seasons, but now that we have begun work on the stories for season five, it has become clear to me that this is the perfect time and place to stop," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "I'm grateful to Netflix and Sony for supporting me in this decision."
It was also recently announced that Imelda Staunton has been confirmed to play Queen Elizabeth II in the drama's final season. The actress, who is known for her role as Dolores Umbridge in the Harry Potter films and for playing Lady Maud Bagshaw in the Downton Abbey movie, takes over from predecessors Olivia Colman and Claire Foy.
