Over the years, Autumn developed not just a strong friendship with her sister-in-law Zara and brother-in-law Mike, but also with <strong><a href=/tags/0/princess-beatrice>Princess Beatrice</a></strong> (pictured right) and her sister, <Strong><a href=/tags/0/princess-eugenie>Princess Eugenie</a></strong>. We were saddened to hear <strong><a href=/tags/0/autumn-phillips>Autumn Phillips</a></strong> and <strong><a href=/tags/0/peter-phillips>Peter Phillips</a></strong> are set to divorce. The two announced their plans this week after a story emerged in the press that they had separated. They plan to seek joint custody of their children, <strong><A href=/tags/0/savannah-phillips>Savannah</a></strong> and <strong><a href=/tags/0/isla-phillips>Isla</a></strong>. <p>Autumn and Peter first met in 2003 at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal. Autumn is originally from Quebec's largest city, and she brought a lovely bit of Canadian spirit to the family when she married Peter in 2008. <p>Through the years, we've loved seeing the couple's mutual affinity for horses, their friendships with Peter's sister <strong><a href=/tags/0/zara-tindall>Zara Tindall</a></strong> and her husband <strong><a href=/tags/0/mike-tindall>Mike Tindall</a></strong>, the care and attention and kindness with which they've raised their daughters, and how beautifully Autumn has fit in with the Royal Family.
