New photo of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis released

The Army in London celebrated Prince George’s sixth birthday on Monday (July 22) by releasing a new photo of the future King with siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis and their dad, Prince William.

The photo was taken at the recent charity polo match in which William and Harry competed, which was attended by William’s children, Duchess Kate, Duchess Meghan and two-month-old Archie Harrison. It also features several soldiers who were on hand at the match, along with Domhnall. The pup is an Irish wolfhound, and you might recognize him from his appearances at St. Patrick’s Day events – he’s a big fan of Kate!

George and Charlotte look quite pleased in the new photo, and Charlotte seems especially happy to be standing next to Domhnall, who is nearly the same height as her! Louis, meanwhile, is being held by his dad and looks a bit perturbed to no longer be wandering around on the ground! The little rascal had quite the busy polo match, and stole the show when he removed Kate’s sunglasses, put them on and stuck out his tongue.

On the eve of George’s birthday, Kate and William released three new portraits of the growing boy. He wears an England jersey and shows off his missing tooth in two of them. The third was taken on holiday on the Caribbean island of Mustique, where the Cambridges are currently on a two-week break for George’s birthday. The island has a no-fly zone, ensuring the kids can enjoy their holiday in privacy. This is the second year the family have spent George’s birthday there, having done so last year as well.

At the aforementioned polo match, George drew attention when he picked up a polo mallet and swung it around – in his left hand! It looks like he’s a southpaw, just like dad William and grandpa Prince Charles! We can’t wait to see him start learning the game.
