The Duchess of Sussex is a mere few months away from welcoming her and Prince Harry's royal baby, and while in Bristol on Feb. 1, she revealed to some lucky locals what she's been craving most! During a walkabout outside the Bristol Old Vic theatre, Meghan stumbled upon some fellow yoga fans...
While chatting with well-wishers on the snowy day, Meghan asked the group: "What kind of yoga do you do?" The duchess, who recently revealed she's around six months pregnant, followed the question up with: "It works for the mind and body, it's so key. A nice practice would be so fantastic right now."
Though the former actress has had a very busy few days – with previous back-to-back visits to The National Theatre and the University of London – we're willing to bet she set aside a bit of time to get some yoga in. After all, she managed to get up at 4 a.m. to do it while on royal tour last year!
Taking care of her body and mind is something the Suits alum holds dear to her heart, and as such she tries her best to live a holistic life. A well-known lover of yoga, she gets her Zen-like nature from mom Doria Ragland, who is a yoga instructor! “I started doing mommy-and-me yoga with her when I was seven,” she told Best Health . “I was very resistant as a kid, but she said, ‘Flower, you will find your practice – just give it time.’ In college, I started doing it more regularly.”
She also focused on caring for her mental health. On her former blog The Tig, she often wrote of the importance of ”me time,” of making travel a priority, decluttering and, of course, being “open to change.” There’s no denying that Baby Sussex is going to be one healthy kid – inside and out.
