Meet Mayhem: 'Vogue' magazine’s four-year-old fashion muse

Our favourite mini fashion muse, Mayhem, is at it again!

You probably saw the paper dress-wearing toddler rocking some of the hottest red carpet looks during award season, and now she’s giving Sarah Jessica Parker a run for her money – with help from Vogue, of course.

Mayhem recreated Sarah Jessica Parker's iconic tartan McQueen gown

Vogue editrix Anna Wintour tapped the spritely sartorial star to model paper versions of some of the most show-stopping looks from the Met Gala’s history, resulting in another unbelievably adorable spread.

The 4-year-old model sports a papercraft Alexander McQueen tartan dress, identical to the gown famously worn by Sarah Jessica at the 2006 gala, and a masterfully crafted version of Moda Operandi founder Lauren Santo Domingo’s 2012 Oscar de la Renta frock, en papier.

The mother-daughter atelier create each piece from items readily available in the home, like tin foil, tissue paper, wrapping paper and gift bags.

Jennifer Lopez's fuchsia florals by Gucci were also on Mayhem's radar

Mayhem’s mom says, “At this point, she knows exactly how many sheets of construction paper she needs to make herself a top and a bottom.”

The paper bag Instagram princess last made a splash after reproducing award circuit red carpet looks from it girls Lupita Nyong’o, Jennifer Lawrence and Katy Perry.
