How will Princess Eugenie wear her hair on her wedding day?

The American Music Awards always feel like “back-to-school” for the biggest names in the business after a summer of festivals and touring – and judging by the mega glamour they served up on last night’s red carpet, the stars are putting their best faces forward this fall.

Carrie Underwood, Camila Cabello and Jennifer Lopez put a modern twist on the smoky eye, using diffused charcoals and brown hues to stunning effects. Others, like Taylor Swift, amped up the drama with graphic liner. Bright lips were also a major hit as Cardi B went for a pop of tangerine in a matte finish, while Canada’s Cobie Smulders rocked a punchy peachy pink.
