Some of music’s biggest names – including Taylor Swift, Lorde, Katy Perry, Robin Thicke, Metallica and Pink – have been added to this year’s list of Grammy Awards performers.
Up for four awards for Pure Heroin (Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album), newcomer Lordewill make her Grammy debut by singing her smash hit “Royals.”
Robin Thicke, meanwhile, will perform with veteran jazz-rock band Chicago.
And for the nostalgic headbangers among us, Metallica is slated to take the stage on Jan. 26 for the first time in 23 years, performing alongside Chinese concert pianist Lang Lang.
In true Grammy fashion, organizers have been tight-lipped over details of the event, only incrementally releasing the list of nominees and performers as the night draws near.
Last month, Daft Punk and Stevie Wonder were among the first musical acts to be announced, and yesterday, producers released the roster of artists (including John Mayer, Alicia Keys and Eurythmics) who will pay tribute to The Beatles during a special, post-Grammys show scheduled to air on Feb. 9.
So the big question is: Who are you most excited to see perform?
The 2014 Grammy Awards will air exclusively on City, Sunday Jan. 26 at 8 pm ET (red carpet at 6:30 pm).
