Madonna will once again take the stage The 57TH Annual GRAMMY Awards. The singer informed fans of her involvement in the awards show by tweeting a picture of her Rebel Heart artwork meshed with a GRAMMY Award. “Rebel Hearts see you Feb 8th @TheGRAMMYs,” she wrote alongside the snap.
The GRAMMY’s official Twitter account confirmed the news shortly after, announcing: “The rumors are true! Seven-time GRAMMY winner @Madonna will perform at the 57th #GRAMMYs.”
This will be Madonna’s fifth time performing at the event, which will air on Feb. 8 on City. The seven-time GRAMMY winner last performed on the show just a year ago, with rappers Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
More acts to be confirmed for the Staples Center stage include Ed Sheeran, Australian rockers AC/DC, Ariana Grande and country singer Eric Church.
Ed, 23, is nominated in three different categories, including Album of the Year for X.
Ariana was nominated for two awards – Best Pop Duo/Group Performance alongside Jessie J and Nicki Minaj for Bang Bang and Best Pop Vocal Album for My Everything. Eric scored four nominations, most notably Best Country Album for his The Outsiders.
The 57th GRAMMY Awards comes two days before Madonna’s new single, Living For Love, will officially begin its promotion to U.S. radio. It’s the lead track from the Rebel Heart album, which will be released on 10 March through Interscope Records.
Music’s Biggest Night® will be broadcast live exclusively on City on Sunday, February 8 starting at 6:30pm ET/PT with Entertainment City: live at the GRAMMYs, followed immediately by The 57 TH Annual GRAMMY Awards at 8pm ET/PT.
