Justin Bieber and Adele are among the hordes of stars who have hopped in the passenger seat with James Corden for a round of wildly popular 'Carpool Karaoke' on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Now, one of the last decade's most iconic pop stars – Britney Spears herself – will reportedly take a spin with the host and fans are already speculating on what to expect from the "I'm a Slave 4 U" singer.
A source revealed to People magazine that thesongstress will be belting out tunes in the car in order to promote her new album, Glory, which is set to be released August26.
The star has already thanked fans for their support of the upcoming album, tweeting: "Thank you all for loving & supporting #Glory. Available for download & streaming everywhere on 8/26. Can't wait for you all to hear it!"
Fans of the popstar have been delighted with the news, with one tweeting: "I'm very excited for this," while another wrote: "BRITNEY SPEARS IS NOT KIDDING THIS TIME AROUND. She will be on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden!"
The 34-year-old will be following the footsteps of Michelle Obama, who appeared on the segment back in July. During her trip, the First Lady opened up about teaching her daughter Malia how to drive and sang along to some tunes after being joined by Missy Elliot. She said: "I rarely get to listen to music in my car. I've been in a car, maybe it was months ago with my daughter who learnt to drive.
"That's the only time in seven and a half years that I've been in the passenger seat listening to music, rocking out like this."
