Duchess Kate and Prince William arrived by plane in Lahore, Pakistan’s second-largest city, on Oct. 17, and the Duchess of Cambridge continued to dazzle with her impressive tour wardrobe.

Kate stepped off the Royal Air Force jet wearing a white embroidered shalwar kameez by designer Gul Ahmed, along with a shawl by Maheen Khan. Both are Pakistani designers, and this marks the third time the duchess has worn Maheen Khan during her time in the country. Kate accessorized with Asprey London’s Woodland Oak Leaf hoop earrings and a blush clutch by Mulberry, and chose suede tan pumps by Gianvito Rossi.

Her look also evoked Princess Diana’s sartorial choices during the three trips the late Princess of Wales made to Pakistan. Kate’s wardrobe has prompted many comparisons with William’s late mother throughout the four days they’ve spent in the country so far. In particular, her first look on Oct. 17 resembled a pink shalwar kameez Diana wore when she arrived at Lahore’s airport in 1996 on a trip to help support Imran Khan’s Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, which had just opened.

Royal watchers have certainly enjoyed Kate’s tour wardrobe, which has put a heavy focus on Pakistani designers and also maintained focus on some of her go-to favourites as a royal, including Catherine Walker. On Oct. 14, Kate chose a Catherine Walker ombre turquoise shalwar kameez-inspired look for her arrival in Rawalpindi, which resembled many items Diana wore in Pakistan during her time there. The next day, the duchess stepped out in a blue embroidered shalwar kameez for a trip to a school and the Margalla hills outside Islamabad, which resembled a purple look Diana wore in Lahore in 1997.
